The word Jacquerie became synonymous with peasant uprisings in late medieval Europe. The Jacqueries from Rome however are not rebellious at all. They are rather disarming. The cover was released through the Italian edition of Rolling Stone magazine. After that the song Kitsch was released and since then the ball kept rolling. Their mix of American indie rock from the nineties and Italian trash from the eighties made this typical Italian collegeband an instant revelation.
