It's a long name, but one that fits like a glove. The Jerry Hormone Ego Trip is indeed the solo project of Jerry Hormone, once the guitarist for famed Rotterdam punk rockers The Apers, and a well known writer of children's books. This outfit is a different affair altogether, though. It is a Nederbeat (Dutch beat) rock 'n roll band with the best Dutch lyrics since The Kik. Nice ego trip Jerry! Their debut album Stout! Stout! Stout! (Naughty! Naughty! Naughty!) came out in November on the Excelsior label.
