The Kik is a Dutch beat band inspired by sixties icons like The Beatles and The Kinks. The group is a gathering of former members of The Madd, Mark & The Spies and The Spades. The wayward dry, humorous frontman Dave von Raven is flanked by Arjan Spies (vocals/guitar), Paul Zoontjens (keys), Marcel Groenewegen (bass) and drummer Ries Doms. Their new album should arrive just in time for Noorderslag.
