Romanian rock at its best, that is what The Mono Jacks have to offer. The sound on debut album Now In Stereo is fitting for large venues and stadiums. Their visceral, indie-inflected wall of sound immediately brings to mind Interpol, Editors and White Lies. "This is a band who could more than hold their own on a British festival stage or support tour, and with the right backing could be the first Romanian band to break out internationally”, according to LouderThanWar, the pop culture music website run by John Robb. Now In Stereo is filled with energetic, tightly played guitar rock. Something The Mono Jacks are very well capable of transferring to the stage. And the Romanian crowds can't get enough of The Mono Jacks live. But hey, give us outside of Romania a chance to see this band. They sound very promising.
