Started as a fun experiment in a kitchen in Dublin, The Scratch shares a love of acoustic guitar, metal and traditional Irish music, moulding triumphant melodies with the groove and intensity of metal. After first EP ‘Old Songs’ (2018), they self-released debut album ‘Couldn’t Give A Rats’ in 2020. Summer 2022 sees the band tackle 20 festivals across Ireland and Europe, and for 2023 The Scratch has a US Tour lined up and more European festivals. Remember, it is impossible to fully understand this band without seeing them live.
