Indie rock band, The Vagary often uses the paintings of famous Dutch painter Mondrian as a metaphor for their songs. The Amsterdam based four-piece write raw, compact pop songs that sound both simple and efficient; just like the minimalist and impressionistic approach of the Dutch Master. The band formed almost three years ago and has since won the biggest music competition of Amsterdam, played support for Pete Doherty and Kurt Vile and released a debut single, Palm Tree Shadows in early 2013. They're currently working on their debut album, which is scheduled for a release in early 2014.
