There's much more variety coming from the Icelandic music scene than strange, ethereal bands like Sigur Ros or Múm. Take for example The Vintage Caravan. They're a young three-piece band from Reykjavik that knows a thing or two about tearing a stage apart. Óskar, Guðjón and Alexander have studied the records from Cream, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and King Crimson from front to back. They've had two releases on Sena, Iceland's biggest record label, a gig at the world famous Roadburn Festival and a European record deal with Nuclear Blast.
