Singer Margrét Rán and saxophone player Andri Már founded Vök after working together since 2011, when both felt that it was time to introduce themselves to the world. Their music breathes minimalist Nordic coolness while Andri's saxophone and Margrét's edgy Tegan and Sara-esque vocals bring warmth to the songs. The band since became a trio when guitarist Ólafur Alexander joined, and Vök's debut LP will be released in early 2015.
