Woe Blind Birds craft their music carefully. The band is in search of beauty, stillness and the entrancing nature of everyday chaos by pushing it under and embracing it. Their post-rock puts all-consuming trance in stark contrast with neurotically configured plucking and ticking. Influences range from Radiohead to Sigur Rós, The Flaming Lips and Bon Iver. The Dutch five-piece also experiment through collaboration with poets, dancers and stage designers.
