Professor, Head of Creative Economy Research Center at the SWPS University, creator of MAP (manager, agent, producer) Master degree. Holder of a postdoctoral degree (habilitation) in management in the humanities, founder of the Pro Cultura Foundation. In the years 2001-2007, President of CIRCLE - a European network of institutions dealing with research, documentation and information in culture. Member of the European Cultural Parliament. Cooperates with foreign organisations and scientific societies, such as ERICArts, ACEI, ISTR. She is the principal investigator of numerous research programmes. She is the author and co-author of book publications and over a hundred expert opinions and articles in the field of economics of culture and cultural industries, cultural policy, civil society, and the functioning of the non-profit sector. The research project "Estimation of the number of artists and creators" became a base for the legislation changes in Poland.
