Guus Bleijerveld is a musician who is also a lawyer or vice versa. As a lawyer he works for several Collective Bargaining Organizations in the Netherlands like Sena (the neighboring right organization for performers and producers) and Buma Stemra (the Dutch music-copyright organization), and Stichting de Thuiskopie (the Dutch foundation for levies on private home copying). Furthermore, Guus is a board member at Kunstenbond (a union for creators and artists) and both board member and consultant for BAMPopauteurs (a professional association for music composers and performers). As a lecturer at Inholland University of Applied Sciences, he is involved in International Music Management, Music-Copyright and Law.
