Marc Zisman has been the editor-in-chief of Qobuz from day one: Since the company was founded in 2007. Before that, Marc was a music journalist for more than 15 years, writing features, reviews and books in all genres, conducting hundreds of interviews, from Kurt Cobain to Pierre Boulez! He has brought this extensive knowledge and passion for music into Qobuz’s digital music platform. As Chief Music Officer since February 2021, Marc also ensures the music team and supply team provide high-quality editorial and magazine content, which is Qobuz’s secret weapon, and what sets them apart from the competition. The biggest challenge he is working on is to spread their expertise across all music styles, making Qobuz a worldwide reference in supporting new talents, local artists and keeping alive the history of all music. Marc believes in Qobuz’s permanent quest for the best sound quality, which helps create a music experience that is unique, and looks and sounds unlike anything else out there.
