Uit een rustige universiteitsstad in West-Polen komen Izzy and the Black Trees met rauwe punk-energie, luidruchtige psych-riffs, sterke beats en pittige melodieën. Je voelt de uitstraling van Patti Smith, Debbie Harry, Kim Gordon of PJ Harvey rond de songwriting van Izzy, haar muzikale uitvoering en de poëtische, rebelse freeride van de band. Tweede album ‘Revolution Comes In Waves’ (oktober 2022) kreeg lovende kritieken uit heel Europa.
