EQUAL is Spotify's global program dedicated to championing women in music by providing education, inspiration, and networking opportunities. Our mission extends beyond the month of March, reflecting a steadfast commitment to fostering equity in the music industry for women.
Since its launch, EQUAL has been committed to empowering women across the globe. We have introduced 40 local EQUAL playlists alongside our flagship EQUAL Global playlist, all housed within our curated EQUAL hub. These efforts celebrate women’s artistry and provide them with a platform to shine. Every month, over 40 women artists are featured as the cover of their local playlists. These artists receive tailored support from Spotify, both on and off the platform, to enhance their reach in their home countries and beyond.
