New Adventures in DIY: Touring off the beaten path in Southeastern Europe

In recent years we've witnessed the ongoing, impressive development of live music infrastructure in Central- and Eastern Europe and The Balkans. Regional festivals attract international superstars, and a growing number of acts find their way to stages and audiences. Few bands, however, make it to the countries and venues outside of the main connecting highways and the Schengen zone.

This is not to say that there isn't a vibrant scene in these countries. On the contrary, many of these have a flourishing nightlife, DIY/underground ecosystem and an impressive cultural agenda. In this panel we invite representatives from several southeastern European countries, that are off the beaten tracks, to highlight opportunities and propose future cooperation within sustainable networks. Because when we grow, we grow together.
