B Young is a singer, rapper and songwriter hailing from Hackney, East London. He spent several years teaching himself how to mix and master his own records and video editing. This allowed him to craft his melodic rap and Afrobeat/basement cross-over sounds. To this day B Young splits his musical tastes between his Caribbean friends’ dancehall music and his friends of African heritage Afrobeats/Afrowave tastes. Through his own label, he has released singles that have accumulated over 300 million streams, and in 2021, the debut album ‘Differences'.
