Charity Children
ESNS: 2014
New Zealanders, Chloë Lewer and Elliott McKee are a couple with big dreams and a lot of courage. The two started playing music back in their home country and continued to do so after they moved to Berlin. They had to as the only German word they knew was 'sauerkraut' - so music was the only profession they could hold down. Busking the streets and playing in Berlin's Mauerpark, the two developed their ukulele-driven, indie folk style. Each time they played, more people showed up and before they knew it Charity Children were Berlin's Best Kept Secret. Their debut album, The Autumn Came was released last July.
