Rihanna, Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus must be jealous, they've got to put a ton of cash on the table to be able to work with hit machine and űber-producer, Dr. Luke. For Swedish MC/producer Ellinor Olovsdotter, aka Elliphant, it was the other way around. Dr Luke signed her to his label, Kemosabe Records after hearing her first single Tekkno Scene in April 2012. Elliphant is seen as the Swedish answer to M.I.A. and Diplo, but she describes her music as 'dankshall', a mix between dancehall and pop. Last year she released her self-titled EP and toured North America as support for Twin Shadow.
