Indie rocksongs with playful vocal melodies set around a solid base of rhythm section and guitar is the best description of the music of Amsterdam band Loupe. Julia (vocals), Lana (bass), Annemarie (drums) and Jasmine (guitar) wrote their first single in a bunker in the Vondelpark, and the second EP ‘Spring ‘19’ can now be heard everywhere. Their songs are full of melancholic contemplations about everyday stuff, like the contrast between chaotic urban life and silence at home.
