Singer-songwriter URSINA was born and raised in a small Swiss mountain village, where her musical universe consisted of classical music and Romansch folk songs. She majored in jazz studies and is especially captivated by Scandinavian artists like Ane Brun, Efterklang, and Jose Gonzalez, releasing her debut EP when living in Denmark. Back in Switzerland, she started writing songs mixing northern influences with her Romansch folk roots and with subtle, finely crafted pop and a lucid voice. Praised as one of the most interesting upcoming Swiss artists, she will release her debut album this month.
