The post-Covid demand for live entertainment in a communal setting has served the festival sector well during the past two years, but ask operators of both boutique and major festivals, and they'll produce an ever-lengthening list of challenges. While distinctions are often made between the big multinational-owned sites, and smaller independent events, in reality, they share more common ground than not.
