A studio with only Dutch gear, is that even possible? Absolutely! During ESNS, we open the doors of Beeld & Geluid | Studio RE:VIVE in Prins Claus Conservatorium for a daily open hour. Visitors are invited to step inside this unique pop-up studio and explore an experimental recording environment built entirely with Dutch instruments and audio gear.
Studio RE:VIVE, an initiative of Beeld & Geluid, is the first music studio ever operated by a national archive and equipped solely with Dutch-made instruments and audio gear. It provides everything needed to experiment, compose and record, yet lacks all the conventional equipment one would expect in a contemporary recording studio.
