Drs Alexander Beets is head of the Business Department of the Fontys Rockacademie and responsible for the career development curriculum for more than 20 years. He has was president of the Board of the Dutch labor union for musicians for 8 years and is now a member of the supervisory board of Buma Stemra. He is artistic director of Amersfoort World Jazz Festival for more than 25 years and initiator of the World Jazz Network. He is known as 'Dutch Jazz ambassador' as well as an expert on international career development and changing business model in the music and entertainment industry. Alexander is also a professional international tenor saxophones player performing over 80 times a year in more than 10 different countries.
