Annika Walsh leads the International Music Strategy team at Spotify, a global team that spans multiple countries, time zones, cultures and languages. Her team serves as the vital link between local & global music teams, ensuring that each unique market is included, represented and empowered to meet local business goals while also advancing overarching global music objectives. A key focus area for the team is identifying opportunities to accelerate the export of music & culture around the world.
Prior to this, Annika ran the Artist & Label Partnerships UK team at Spotify, working directly with artists, managers, labels and distributors, building strong relationships, sharing best practices and creating impactful artist marketing campaigns for key releases and moments.
Annika's 17 years in the music industry include roles at Universal Music Group International, Polydor Records, Metropolis Studios and WE7/blinkbox Music.
