Aynouk Tan (she/ them) is a writer, curator, moderator, advisor and public speaker in the field of gender, decolonization, (queer) identity and appearance. In the cultural sector they work as a curator of exhibitions and compiler of public programs. They are also a policy advisor to the municipality of Amsterdam concerning LGBTQI+ safety and works as a trainer Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI). Tan was one of the founders of the Amsterdam 'Queer Pride'. They are the director of Queer is not a Manifesto, a foundation that centers queer identities through activist practices. They are committee member at Fonds 21 and Stadsarchief Amsterdam.
