Hip-hop fan, vinyl collector, and (almost) an amateur DJ, had high hopes to become an artist, but dreams were quickly shattered due to the very obvious lack of talent. Luckily, I went the other way, the "artist support services" branch. In early 2006, I started working for Emagic - the promoter that brought to Romania household names such as Coldplay, Madonna, Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Depeche Mode, Queen & Adam Lambert, Roger Waters, Lenny Kravitz, Iron Maiden, Sting or Shakira. Moved through various departments and learned the tips & tricks of the trade - from marketing & communication to event production and corporate partnerships - before I became a partner in the company in 2013, and dealt mainly with artist bookings since.
