Eefje's hypnotic alternative pop always explores what drives, divides and brings people together. After the success of Bitterzoet, she retreated to the studio to work exclusively on songs she wrote during her tour, but also during the pandemic, her pregnancy, and the first period of motherhood. With her new songs, she presents herself as her most authentic self; an uncompromising songwriter, proprietary in translating her inner world into personal, timeless songs, and dark, dreamy productions. Her fifth album Heimwee came out on September 13.
