Artist, Co-founder, FRÉ, Music Declares Emergency NL
FRÉ is a Dutch singer, songwriter, producer and activist, and an emerging voice in the international pop scene. Her music is intimate yet powerful, giving voice to a generation navigating questions of equality, identity and a livable planet. Her latest album Gemini, released in September 2025, explores duality — celebrating the paradox — and was presented with an album release tour at renowned pop venues such as Paradiso. Her work has been featured on BBC Radio and Dutch national radio (NPO Radio 1, Radio 2, 3FM and Radio 5).
Alongside her artistic practice, FRÉ is a speaker on the role of music and art in the climate and ecological crisis, known for building bridges between culture, positive communication and systemic change. She is co-founder of Music Declares Emergency NL, part of the international movement supported by artists such as Billie Eilish and Radiohead. She completed her master’s degree at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, where she wrote "A Four-Step Guide to Reducing Your Environmental Impact as an Artist in Today’s Music Industry". Through conferences, festivals and conservatories, FRÉ speaks about artist activism, sustainability in the music industry, and the cultural narratives that drive systemic change. In 2025, she co-created MDE's Your Unique Impact training.
