Isabel Villanueva Benito (BIME), is a senior researcher in the field of the Music Industry, with extensive experience in Performing Arts, Audiences, and New Technologies. Her career includes the publication of numerous articles on digitalisation and music audiences, as well as over 15 years as a senior lecturer at UIC Barcelona and as Director of Innovation and Quality. Throughout her career, she has led prominent projects such as the International Master’s in Management at ESMUC and the collaboration with The Center for Music Innovation, UCLA. In 2023. She launched the first edition of Music Futures, a platform aimed at creating innovative solutions to the challenges faced by the music sector. Isabel is a member of Intune Alliance, a European project dedicated to transforming music education. Since 2024 is part of the Cultural Council of the Government of Navarra. She also works as a consultant for national and international companies, combining this role with the artistic and strategic development of her own company, founded in 2019. Through her project, she supports artists and organisations in creating innovative projects for contemporary audiences.
