One of the most prolific Slovenian music writers and curators of the younger generation, Jaša is the dance music editor and author of the Hyperspecific column at The Quietus, as well as a freelance music critic (Mladina, Odzven, Music Slovenia, Razpotja, Dialogi). Focusing on contemporary electronic and experimental music, he also explores a wide range of genres and topics within pop culture. Jaša is co-curator at SONICA Festival and MENT Ljubljana, where he oversees the CE/MENT program, and manages PR for several other festivals, including Glasbe sveta and GONGFest. A resident DJ at Ljubljana’s Channel Zero and co-founder of the Cosmic Sex collective, he has hosted artists such as Pearson Sound, Nick León, and Mad Miran. He regularly performs at clubs across Ljubljana and has appeared at festivals including Butik and Dimensions. Occasionally, he works as a copywriter (Glitterbeat Records, Moonlee Records), moderates debates and hosts interviews (Jeff Mills, Kode9, Ogazón, Shawn Reynaldo, Jude Rogers), and has curated music and conference programs for various projects such as Pixxelpoint Festival, IndieRE 2.0, and Radio Študent, where he co-hosted the Partijska linija show (2017–2025) and the DJ Afterparty show (2018–2022).
