Nicole Venema is a cultural policy advisor for the Municipality of Groningen and is responsible for the music portfolio. She works on policies that strengthen the Groningen music scene—from talent development to nightlife culture. Previously, she worked on large-scale cultural projects such as Leeuwarden-Fryslân 2018 and Floriade Expo 2022, where she gained experience in cultural strategy, collaboration, and audience outreach.
