Nur Al Habash was born in Rome in 1986. She’s a music business and music export expert, and has over 10 years of experience in the Italian music industry. She started her career in 2006 founding a girls collective in Rome known for a festival, a club night and a webzine. Over the years she has worked as a music journalist for national newspapers, and worked several years as Editor-in-Chief of Rockit.it (one of the main Italian music webzines). In 2017 she founded for SIAE (the Italian Collecting Society) the first Italian music export office, Italia Music Export. In 2021 she was appointed Director of the Italia Music Lab Foundation. In 2022 she started her experience as Creative Director of Milan Music Week. Since 2023 she is part of British Council Italy’s Cultural Advisory Board.
