Originally a buccaneering DJ with the offshore Radio Caroline and the Voice of Peace, which broadcast off the coast of Israel, Stuart Clark moved during the 1980s to Ireland where he joined the country’s fabled music, arts and politics magazine, Hot Press. Rising through their ranks to become Deputy Editor, he’s interviewed everyone from Amy Winehouse, Bruce Springsteen and David Bowie to Dolores O’Riordan, U2 and Michael Stipe. He’s also written the official The Cranberries: Why Can’t We? book, hosts a weekly music review slot on Newstalk FM and is the roving reporter for Virgin Media Ireland’s Uprising music series.
