Sydney Schelvis is assistant music programmer at Melkweg. This iconic venue in downtown Amsterdam, a member of Liveurope, features 1.000+ productions with 500.000+ guests per year. Schelvis assists in booking concerts at any end of the genre spectrum. He obtained his BA Musicology, MA Musicology and MA Art Studies at the University of Amsterdam, where he currently works as a teacher in musicology and co-founded Amsterdance: the Amsterdam Electronic Dance Music Research Group.
