Silvurdrongur is a Faroese multi-artist who combines wild, unpredictable performances with a shamanistic catharsis on stage. The music is a combination of club, hiphop, punk and noise rock which can be aptly named "extinction punk" due to its thematic dealings with apocalyptic subject matter – as well as its overall vibe. Silvurdrongur just released a new album last summer to rave reviews from big outlets such as The Fader, who wrote: "... the album threads this needle with wondrous, hypnotic soundscapes that provide a strange, disarming setting for Silvurdrongur’s venomous bars."
