Angelique Houtveen is a presenter, voice-over artist and storyteller with a heart for music, creativity and mental health.

Over the past 15 years she has hosted radio shows on stations including Sublime, FunX and 3FM. In 2017 she was one of the hosts in the Glass House for 3FM’s charity marathon Serious Request. She shares her music knowledge and sharp eye on television in The Best of Pop (NPO 1) and as host of the North Sea Jazz TV broadcast. She also appears as an expert on various talk shows, and gave a TEDx talk on the pressure to perform when you don’t fit the norm.

Angelique speaks openly, from her own experience, about daring to make brave choices. In her podcast Angelique’s Voice Notes, she explores how music, vulnerability and choices shape your life. In Affirmaties met Beats (Affirmations with Beats), she pairs encouraging words with soulful beats for anyone who wants to slow down and land, feel more, and trust their own compass again.

Her presenting workshops show participants how to share their story with presence and authenticity. As a current and former jury member of Edison Jazz, the Popronde and De Gouden Notenkraker, she champions talent in the music industry.
