Founder, artist & tour manager, Okay, Sounds Great
Dennis de Groot is an artist and tour manager, and founder of Okay, Sounds Great, an Amsterdam-based management company helping Black and Brown artists build sustainable careers. As co-founder of the music blog moovmnt.com, he formed an integral part of the early 2000s beat scene and has a strong background in artist services and creative strategy. He has worked with Moses Sumney, Cory Henry, Makaya McCraven, L'Rain, Dekmantel, and North Sea Jazz Festival, served as a Red Bull Music Academy representative, and routinely speaks at conferences. Previously, he was an established illustrator and creative director, working with brands such as Converse, Lacoste, and Bacardi, and co-directed the music documentary "Easy Man," about the life and work of flutist Ronald Snijders.
