Hervé Riesen

Hervé Riesen began his broadcasting career at Europe 2 channel in 1990 before he was invloved in launching the Swiss network station Couleur 3 in France. In 1997, he began work at Le Mouv’ (current name: Mouv’), before moving to France Inter where he served as music programmer since 2000. In 2007, Hervé joined Couleur 3 in Switzerland and was them appointed manager of the music programming unit of the Radio Suisse Romande (RSR) that included La 1ère, Couleur 3, Option Musique and World Radio Switzerland. In that cross-station position he implemented and developed the programme competence and inter-channels convergence. He was appointed Director of national youth channel Le Mouv in 2008 before becoming Deputy Director of the delegate Direction for International Affairs at Radio France. He developed many collaborations between public broadcasters in Europe and Africa as well as editorial strategy for Radio France. Currently Hervé is Deputy director for FIP at Radio France and also President of the Eurosonic Group at the European Broadcasting Union (EBU).
