Jessica Dassen started working in the events industry in 1998, while completing her bachelor's degree in Social Work. Over the years she worked backstage at big festivals in the Netherlands like North Sea Jazz, but also chose to manage tours for smaller unique projects like currently ‘A new dawn’ by Redo & Dominique. Concert hall Muziekgebouw Eindhoven has been her home base for the last 15 years and she is still working there as the inclusion & sustainability programmer. In 2021 she founded the non-profit Backstage Pass, to increase diversity & inclusion in the Dutch events industry. The foundation is launching its first project at the end of 2022, aiming to inspire, encourage and empower girls to start a career in live music.
