Co-Founder, Ringo
Marcel Alexander Wiebenga is co-founder of Ringo, the Amsterdam-based tech platform building sync infrastructure for the social media era. His link to sync began early: his hardcore band Das Oath landed tracks in Tony Hawk's Underground 2, giving him a first, unexpected view into commercial music licensing.

Before Ringo, Marcel spent a decade as partner and strategy director at Sizzer Amsterdam, where he helped scale the company into an award-winning international agency for music in advertising. He oversaw campaigns for clients including Mercedes, Diesel and Heineken, and spoke at leading conferences as a voice on music strategy and creative process.

Today he writes a widely read newsletter for more than 3,500 industry professionals on music, tech and culture, and advises law firms and rights holders on how sync value is measured, negotiated and recovered.
