My meteorological career started at the Royal Dutch Airforce after completing the Officers training back in 2009. By working at the Joint Meteorological Group and providing highly detailed weather forecasts for several squadrons I quickly became an experienced aviation meteorologist. Growing into the higher officer ranks the operational functionalities gradually broadened and I became a more all-round meteorologist, able to serve land, air and maritime components in national and international contexts, both abroad and closer to home. In 2019 I transitioned to Infoplaza where I was, and still am, responsible for land and maritime forecasting; serving a wide variety of clients who are heavily dependent on precision weather forecasting.
