Niels Walboomers embarked on his musical journey 28 years ago, co-founding Walboomers Music with his brother Marc. Following a thriving 15-year venture, he was recruited by Sony Music Publishing to lead their Benelux division. After a notable 12-year tenure, he assumed the role of President at Warner Music & Warner Chappell Benelux. Niels served for over 12 years on the board of Buma Stemra and was chairman of the Dutch Music Publishing Association, NMUV. At the moment is a board member of the NMUV and is on the board of the Dutch Federation of the Phonographic Industry, NVPI.
