Rike van Kleef is a generalist with a clear vision and versatile insights: She is pursuing projects as a speaker, tour & stage manager, activist, founder, event organizer, co-chairwoman of fæmm and as part of the Audiolith Booking team. With her accumulated knowledge from theory and practice, she is passionate about bringing more diversity, gender- and climate-justice into the event-, cultural- and creative-industries. In 2022, she completed her study “Wer gibt hier den Ton an?" on the representation of gender on German music festival stages. The thesis was nominated for the FHP Gender Prize and one of the first to address this topic in the German-speaking area. In 2023, she was awarded the International Music Journalism Award in the category "Best Work Of Music Journalism, Under 30" for her articles. The author is currently conducting further research for her debut non-fiction book, which will be published in March 2025.
