Robert started studying media arts in Groningen and played drums in several bands. He eventually chose the visual side and started his own video production company Creative Cowboys. During this time, he taught video art and storytelling, and in 2010 he decided to move on fully within education. Currently, he is teamlead within the Creative Business programme and involved in the further development of the curriculum in which music management has a prominent place.
