I am one of the founders of Zombi Squad, Bumrush the Building, Backbone050 and Magma. The first is that Hip Hop group from Groningen that toured underground Hip Hop Europe since 1993 untill approx 2008. The second was that hotbed where, at that time, the next/the now generation of Hip Hop legends from Groningen grew stronger. That place where the likes of Kraantje Pappie, Dj Irie, Vinyl Frontiers and Dope D.O.D. dwelled. The third is that place that made it's mark within Groningen so big, where a mini society of approx 8500 square meters filled with creativity(if i would name a few it would not be fair to the others!) and social/community projects like Gea's Weggeefwinkel and the Freecafe got their groove. The fourth is the building for the community, social, warm, that is working for and with the neighbourhood.
