Simone van Vugt is a music rights advocate, musician, and board member within the Dutch music sector, currently serving as a lobbyist for the creative sector union Kunstenbond.

In 2021, she graduated with a Master of Music in Composition from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, completing a thesis on the opportunities and challenges surrounding online copyright revenues.

As a performing artist under the pseudonym Lov3less, she has released multiple albums and was named 3FM Talent by Dutch radio station 3FM. As a multi-instrumentalist, she performs approximately 30 shows per year across various musical projects.

Alongside her artistic practice, Simone actively advocates for fair remuneration for musicians and a safe working environment across the music industry. She has held governance and advisory roles since 2021, including her current position on the Member Council of Buma Stemra and her involvement in Taskforce GO.
