In collaboration with 11- to 12-year-old students from IKC Borgman Oosterpoort, artist Koos Buist - whose work 'O Denneboom' is on display at the Grote Markt during ESNS - explored nature and its hidden wonders and philosophized with them about the future of nature.
What will the future of nature look like, and what is hidden underground? Not only can the students' reflections be found in the artwork at the Grote Markt, but the students also collaborated with Buist to create mystical creatures from the roots of Christmas trees.
These creatures, small "nature spirits" with unique characters, are on display! During ESNS, they can be viewed in the window of Kunstpunt's pop-up location in the former Vapiano building.
