A few years ago they were just a beginning band from Heerenveen, in the north of The Netherlands, and now they have been asked to support Duran Duran on the German tour. That's how fast things are going for A Silent Express. They won the audience award at Hollands' most important band contest De Grote Prijs van Nederland in 2007. Their wave oriented pop is inspired by The Simple Minds and Duran Duran. Their single Will I Be Around is the most played radio single on national radio station 3FM in 2010. And now they support Duran Duran. The future is looking bright for A Silent Express.
