Alexander Moto is a storyteller with disarming honesty. In his lyrical, reflective hip-hop, the Frisian rapper explores matters of the soul, dreamy yet focused, and never shying away from the truth. Fascinated by storytelling from an early age, he began writing, creating and playing the piano before discovering rap at fourteen as the form of expression closest to his inner world. Based in Leeuwarden, Moto has steadily built his body of work with the album Radiostilte op Iselmar (2020), several EPs and the mixtape rups (2024). With new material on the way, his ESNS show marks the next step in an unfolding story.
