South-London's Arcane Roots are quite a handful. 'Nothing extraordinary was ever achieved by playing things safe', was the motto of the alternative rock three-piece whilst recording their third album Melancholia Hymns. In 10 years, several EP's and a critically acclaimed debut album Arcane Roots have built a loyal and dedicated following. Having toured with some of the most distinct, highly-respected rock acts of the 21st century (Muse, Biffy Clyro, Twin Atlantic), Arcane Roots have broadened their palate and their horizons, setting their sights on standing alongside these giants, rather than simply standing on their shoulders.
